Our Campuses

Below is a list of the universities that MTO Sufi Society® is currently active in, including future universities where societies are being opened.

We hold many different events such as discussions, interfaith gatherings and workshops to make the student body aware of Sufism.

Goldsmiths University

 

Goldsmiths University

Goldsmiths University is located in New Cross, South East London. The university dates back to 1891 to when it was first established as an institution. Today Goldsmiths University is part of the University of London and it caters for over 8,000 students a year and specialises in Arts and Design and Humanities subjects.

MTO Sufi Society® was established at Goldsmiths University in 2008. Throughout the year MTO Sufi Society® has hosted a Sufism Live event, a regular radio show and regular society meetings.

 

King's College, University of London

 

King's College, University of London

King's College is part of the University of London, it has been rated as one of the world's top 25 universities. Founded in 1829, today King's College has over 20,000 students. Specialising in nine schools of study, King's College is located over five campuses.

MTO Sufi Society® was established at King's College in 2008. So far we have held discussions of Sufism, Exploring Sufism and a Sufism Live event.

 

Kingston University

 

Kingston University

Kingston university is located in Surrey, south-west London. The university dates back over 110 years and today educates over 20,000 students a year. The university is split over 4 campuses, each specialising in a different school.

MTO Sufi Society® was established at Kingston University in September 2007. Our first activity was taking part in the Fresher’s Fair for new students joining the university. In over one year of running, our activities include discussions on Sufism, stalls and tables to raise awareness of Sufism and interfaith gatherings.

 

London Metropolitan University

 

London Metropolitan University

London Metropolitan University is situated over two campuses across London. The University specialises in ten departments providing a range of 485 courses. The university was established in 2002 and today provides education for over 34,000 students a year.

MTO Sufi Society® was established at London Metropolitan University in October 2008. There will be many events taking place in the near future.

 

Westminster University

 

Westminster University

Westminster university has campuses over Central and North London, founded in 1838 Westminster university teaches over 22,000 students a year in undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD level.

MTO Sufi Society® was established at Westminster University in 2006. Activities held so far include a successful Sufism Live event, stalls and tables to raise awareness and discussions with fellow students on Islam.
