What Is Tamarkoz®?
Tamarkoz® is a fundamental aspect of Islamic Sufism as it disciplines the student to put teachings into practice. In order to reach the state of Tamarkoz® one must actively practice physical movements called Movazeneh®; by carrying out these movements the student can gradually relate the physical and mental faculties to that giving source. Tamarkoz® is therefore a state of being.
The Tamarkoz® and Movazeneh® practise carried out by the Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon him) whilst he was in solitude and has been developed and taught by Hazrat Jalaleddin, Hazrat Mir Ghotbeddin, Hazrat Shahmaghsoud and been made accessible to all in its current form by the present Sufi Master Hazrat Pir.
The Tamarkoz® techniques are exclusive to MTO Shahmaghsoudi School of Islamic Sufism®. They incorporate physical movements as well as deep breathing exercises, both of which help the individual become more stable and get rid of excess thoughts and habits. It also helps the individual to become more balanced and focused on their spiritual journey to self-cognition; and to master to all the magnetic sources including source of life as has been said/ explained in the Book hidden angles of life by Hazrat Shahmaghsoud Sadegh Angha.
In fact, Hazrat Pir has stated in the Book Expansion & Contraction within Being (Dahm) some of the benefits of deep breathing. He states: “ In deep breathing as much as five litres of air can enter the lungs, Thus the entire body will receive considerably larger supplies of 02, resulting in raising the energy level of the body”.
